Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, or a similar technical field
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience with a bachelors, 7 years with a masters, or 4 years with a PhD
- At least 5 years of Systems Engineering expertise within the Mission Systems sector for military aircraft
- Over 2 years of experience in leading teams or managing projects
- Must have undergone a security clearance background check within the last 5 years
Responsibilities
- Integrate and develop Apps, Containers, and Skills across various F/A-18 and EA-18 contracts to provide advanced capabilities for military personnel
- Collaborate with both external customers and internal teams to plan and execute intricate hardware-software integration in an agile setting
- Gather, analyze, and arrange technical metrics to efficiently manage the program
- Facilitate technical communication across teams and different levels of leadership
- Evaluate customer requests in relation to contractual and technical impacts, and work with Integration to convert them into system and program requirements
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure adherence to requirements
- Offer support and troubleshoot issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Proactively familiarize oneself with product systems and apply systems thinking principles to enhance performance and ensure quality from the outset
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior engineers
