Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 14+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Bachelors degree, or 12+ years with a Masters degree, or 9+ years with a PhD
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
- Previous experience in tactical fighters program (preferred)
- Experience in designing, verifying, and fielding avionics subsystems (preferred)
- Proficiency in circuit card and backplane design and integration (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical expert and lead engineer for Mission Computers and Stores Management hardware
- Oversee the hardware supplier design team to meet Tactical Fighters program requirements
- Develop interface control documents that outline mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces
- Investigate and resolve technical issues at subsystem, system, and platform integration levels
- Contribute to weapon capability development and its integration onto fighter platforms
- Provide status updates to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Assist in subsystem testing for the Mission Systems Hardware
- Participate in system testing during ESIL and Flight Test phases
- Support efforts related to airworthiness for design, development, and implementation of hardware
