Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI US Security Clearance (Post-Start)
- At least 3 years of experience leading software development lifecycle projects and tasks
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) utilizing relevant code versioning and automation tools
- Proficient in Java
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent education
- Experience in leading software teams and projects for 5 years
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
- Skilled in Java EE, Maven, SQL, XML, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bash, CI/CD, REST, and gRPC
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate, Quarkus, Kotlin, Thymeleaf, Tailwind
- Experience with Java Swing/FX
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational databases
- Familiarity with RedHat/Oracle Linux
- Experience using Coverity and SonarQube
- Experience in building micro-services
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain robust client-side, server-side, and desktop applications that underpin our mission-critical satellite systems
- Design and execute application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to harmonize diverse capabilities
- Enhance applications for scalability, performance, and reliability in intricate environments
- Diagnose, modify, and upgrade complex applications to uphold functionality and performance standards
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with comprehensive test cases, adhering to industry best practices
- Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers
- Clearly document complex system designs and application workflows comprehensively
- Actively seek out and propose opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as an autonomous self-starter
