Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI US Security Clearance (Post-Start)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks
- Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) using relevant versioning, build, and test automation tools
- Proficiency in Java
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program
- Level 4: 5 years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience
- Level 4: 5 years of experience leading software teams and/or projects
- Proficient with GitLab ecosystem, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
- Knowledgeable in Java EE, Maven, SQL, XML, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bash, CI/CD, REST, gRPC
- Familiar with Spring Boot, Hibernate, Quarkus, Kotlin, Thymeleaf, Tailwind
- Skilled in Java Swing/FX
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or comparable relational databases
- Proficient with RedHat/OracleLinux
- Skilled with Coverity, SonarQube
- Experience building micro-services
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain robust client-side, server-side, and desktop applications that support critical satellite systems
- Design and create application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services to facilitate smooth data exchange across platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate various functionalities
- Enhance applications for scalability, performance, and reliability in intricate environments
- Troubleshoot, modify, and upgrade complex applications to ensure continuous functionality and performance
- Write clean and maintainable code alongside comprehensive testing cases, following industry standards
- Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers
- Clearly and thoroughly document complex system designs and application workflows
- Actively identify opportunities for enhancements and innovations
- Exhibit strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills as a proactive contributor
