Requirements
Must:
- Experience with C, C++, Java, Ada, and/or Python
- A minimum of 2 years experience in projects utilizing various software development methodologies
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Software development experience in a collaborative team using agile principles and structured processes, including code reviews and automated DevOps tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout its lifecycle, adhering to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards
- Analyze and translate customer requirements into initial software design
- Enhance and optimize software products and functionalities for system integration
- Document and maintain software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
- Address user inquiries, provide technical troubleshooting, and analyze user feedback
- Implement current and emerging technologies relevant to software development
- Monitor and enhance software processes, tools, and performance metrics aligning with organizational goals
- Plan and document software research and development projects
- Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, and regulations
- Perform project and supplier management activities
- Assess software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
