Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with C/C++
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing software for Real-Time or Non-Real-Time systems
- Over 5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- At least 1 year of experience in Safety or Flight Critical Software Development
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and uphold architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for the software system
- Write and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully operational software system
- Produce and maintain software development plans, verification plans, testing procedures, and test environments; execute testing procedures and record results to ensure software meets requirements
- Offer technical leadership for software initiatives
- Aid in the generation and upkeep of software processes, tools, and metrics
- Act as a subject matter expert for software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Monitor and assess the software team to ensure product and process adherence to project plans and industry standards
- Provide training and mentorship to others
- Operate under general supervision
