Requirements

Must:
- Ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance, which requires US Citizenship. - Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada, and/or Python. - A minimum of 2 years of experience working on a project utilizing various software development methodologies. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred. - Experience in collaborative software development environments using agile principles and structured development processes, including code reviews and automated DevOps tools. - Familiarity with team collaboration tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards. - Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software product designs. - Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for system integration. - Create and document software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs. - Debug and resolve issues to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products. - Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback. - Implement current and emerging technologies and tools relevant to software development. - Develop and improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. - Plan and document software research and development projects. - Advise on software domains and system-specific issues. - Conduct software project management activities and oversee supplier management functions. - Monitor and evaluate the performance of software teams and suppliers to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
