Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry - 2 or more years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 3 or more years of experience in Propulsion Engineering - 5 or more years of related work experience preferred - Knowledge of aircraft fuel systems and architecture preferred - Strong technical abilities with a proven capability to tackle complex problems - Excellent project and time management skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively - Exceptional communication skills; adept at conveying complex information to internal and external stakeholders - Experience with multi-disciplinary projects - Familiarity with ENOVIA, CSDT, REDARS, ETAC, IVX, IVT, CATIA (PDM is a bonus) - Knowledge in establishing RCCAs, BPSMs, fault trees, and cause maps preferred - Experience with the COSP process is a plus - Familiar with aviation safety and certification processes preferred - Understanding of large transport category aircraft certification preferred - Familiarity with CFR 25.981 and/or 25.1309 preferred - Ability to work under general supervision and self-direct tasks based on stakeholder needs - Capacity to represent the company professionally in challenging environments - Competency in collaborating effectively across diverse teams - Ability to independently devise innovative solutions that align with business goals - Experience with SCD Qualification Programs and Equipment Management is desirable but not mandatory - Willingness to travel as necessary

Responsibilities

- Lead teams to ensure effective integration of propulsion/fuels modifications with other aircraft systems - Assist in developing design solutions aimed at enhancing product performance - Maintain oversight of supplier-provided fuel system components - Engage with suppliers for project management and integration of vendor-initiated design changes - Support supplier engineering change proposals, including the review and approval of drawings and documentation - Collaborate with suppliers to establish requirements for qualification tests and oversee planning and execution - Assist in managing Boeing Specification Control Document (SCD) requirements, including options for revision and new developments - Address and investigate issues related to fleet, production, and supplier regarding the fuel systems, such as Service Requests and Non-Conformances - Work with suppliers and external partners to foster successful collaboration on Propulsion Fuels projects - Coordinate, develop, and publish testing plans, reports, and procedures - Analyze data related to testing or certification - Provide assistance for safety and compliance reviews - Create or update documentation related to system safety analysis and airworthiness limitations for the 787 - Manage and prioritize various tasks to support certification and aircraft delivery timelines - Collaborate with internal teams such as Electro Magnetic Engineering, Airplane Safety Engineering, and Regulatory Administration to meet project objectives - Communicate project status, risks, issues, and opportunities to Propulsion and Program Leadership
