Product Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent qualifications, along with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience. - Skills to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, as well as summarize findings and develop recommendations. - Experience in incident response, with a focus on designing and implementing technical controls to detect, contain, and address cyber incidents. - Ability to analyze systems for susceptibility, survivability, and vulnerabilities based on knowledge of threat characteristics. - Familiarity with emerging computing technologies to manage advanced research projects and resources. - Knowledge of system security domains such as information assurance, anti-tamper, and intrusion detection, with experience in adhering to NIST security guidelines. - Experienced in engineering requirements decomposition and implementing DoD security policies and regulations, including threat assessments and continuous monitoring. - Understanding of risk management methodologies and ability to conduct trade studies, identifying and mitigating risks. - Proficiency in risk management tools to support project execution. - Strong systems-thinking ability to analyze technical interactions and design scalable solutions.
