Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree with typically 5+ years of experience in an engineering role, or a Masters degree with typically 3+ years of experience in an engineering context
- For Level 4: Bachelors degree with typically 9+ years of experience in an engineering role, or a Masters degree with typically 7+ years of experience in an engineering context
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a technical focus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel as a data processing tool
- Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and interpret data, summarizing findings effectively
- Familiarity with drawing and data systems and configuration management principles
- Capability to understand and interpret contract requirements, particularly concerning Configuration Status Accounting (CSA)
Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate in the development, management, and verification of complex product process baselines
- Define, plan, and conduct product and subsystem-level technical design reviews for both new and derivative products
- Oversee the integration and management of software and hardware configurations, diagnosing engineering product structure issues
- Develop and implement engineering technical program plans that encompass impacts, risks, and lessons learned across engineering functions
- Analyze constraints for complex systems to identify and assess impacts on products and systems, creating integrated change proposals
- Generate, review, and manage software description documents and configuration artifacts, ensuring deliverables meet contract specifications
- Maintain consistency in the application of Configuration and Data Management policies and ensure process documents are current
- Interpret contract requirements and Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL) content relating to Product Life Cycle management
