Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering
- At least 5 years of proficiency in C++
- Over 1 year of experience with MATLAB
- Familiar with Agile Software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Physics-Based Modeling software is preferable
- Experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g., Git, GitLab, CMake) is a plus
- Experience in real-time software development and with MATLAB Coder is beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience with Java in a professional or academic setting is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout its lifecycle
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into initial software designs
- Mentor junior engineers in software development processes
- Create interface definitions
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Participate in peer reviews to ensure quality standards
- Support software system integration and testing processes
- Generate comprehensive software documentation
- Interface with various software programming languages
