Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in communicating technical details both verbally and in written form
- Experience in generating system designs using iterative and agile development methodologies
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Math, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in designing, developing, and/or operating ground software and systems (preferred)
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for ground software and the entire ground segment
- Manage customer relationships through trade studies, development, and testing to meet mission requirements
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver large-scale ground software and mission control systems
- Collaborate with other Millennium staff to conduct testing on components, subsystems, and spacecraft in various configurations
- Develop integration plans and procedures for incorporating Millennium software applications into government-provided software and infrastructure
- Oversee integrated system test events, linking Millennium-developed products and government systems
- Design implementation plans and interfaces for mission data processing applications to support payload elements and user segments
- Provide support for ground software and systems during on-orbit activities, including launch, early operations, and end-of-life operations
- Assist with proposals for new ground software and systems in relation to new business opportunities
- Perform other related duties as assigned
