Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry - Over 5 years of experience as a systems engineer with expertise in aircraft subsystems (mechanical and/or electrical) - Proven experience in managing supplier performance and requirements flow-down - Up to 20% travel may be required

Responsibilities

- Provide technical oversight and daily management of suppliers while engaging with the supply chain to enhance supplier performance - Foster and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams - Relay program updates, key risks, issues, and opportunities to customers and leadership, clearly specifying needed support or decisions - Draft clear and compliant supplier statements of work (SSOW) for both ongoing and new projects, ensuring timely and accurate execution - Collaborate with customers to establish technical requirements and convert them into actionable delivery strategies - Create a comprehensive set of metrics to convey the status of contract deliverables - Oversee program deliverables by devising risk-mitigation strategies, tracking challenges and opportunities, and reviewing baseline plans to assess project efficacy and capture lessons learned - Communicate technical issues or alterations through Change Control Boards and/or Chief Engineer Council - Address technical challenges by coordinating among engineering, operations, and suppliers to implement effective solutions - Assist in proposal development efforts, including competitive cost estimating, schedule planning, and delivery commitments - Monitor and report progress against cost, schedule, and technical performance utilizing Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM) - Provide additional program assistance as necessary, including addressing Corrective Action Requests (CARs), supporting export compliance, and spearheading lean/process improvement initiatives
