Mid-Level & Senior Systems Engineer

- Lead a team of systems engineers in creating, reviewing, and maintaining system and subsystem requirements for the F-15 simulator program - Define and uphold quality standards, templates, and patterns for requirements to ensure they are verifiable and consistent - Establish and ensure traceability of requirements from stakeholder needs through design, implementation, and verification - Coordinate the collection of stakeholder inputs from various disciplines and translate them into system requirements - Execute requirements reviews, technical meetings, and design evaluations; identify gaps and ensure resolution with responsible parties - Develop and uphold compliance matrices, gap analyses, and remediation strategies for standards - Mentor and nurture team members in best practices of requirements engineering, including MBSE/SysML and DOORS - Collaborate with other teams on requirements interpretations, ICDs, and verification acceptance criteria - Assist in verification planning by creating testable acceptance criteria and coordinating test case development with Verification & Validation teams - Maintain configuration control of requirements baselines, manage change boards, and complete impact assessments - Lead integration phases, government evaluations, and accreditation activities; report on requirements status to program leadership
