Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or 17+ years equivalent related experience
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- At least 3 years of experience in containerized software development
- More than 3 years of experience supporting DevSecOps lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, particularly in continuous integration and deployment
- 3+ years of experience in automation, implementation, and deployments in both Windows and Linux environments
- Active Secret clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers focused on designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining a secure, consistent software development toolchain across various networks and locations.
- Drive the approval and implementation of continuous integration and deployment pipelines in sensitive program areas.
- Collaborate with software development, IT, and security teams on tracking and mitigating vulnerabilities, pushing efforts forward.
- Architect and oversee the shift of a multi-site, multi-network software development environment to a cloud-based model.
- Conduct trade studies and select tools to enhance and modernize software development processes and operational frameworks.
- Implement best practices and methods for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Uphold the DevSecOps vision and roadmap, keep track of status, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide team members, providing technical leadership while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous growth.
