Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Active Top Secret US Security clearance (Pre-Start)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience with Java and/or C++ object-oriented programming
- 3 years of experience leading software development projects
- 1 year of experience with MATLAB
- Strong computing skills
- Excellent communication and customer-oriented mindset
- Flexible and positive team player
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning of software development tasks, including the design, coding, and testing of features based on user stories, ensuring acceptance criteria are met
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure software meets customer and performance needs with clear traceability to design and testing artifacts
- Review software system-level analyses to identify risks, issues, and opportunities; lead integration and deployment of risk mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
- Supervise testing processes, verification activities, and resolution of software system-related issues
- Assess project alignment with plans and industry standards by tracking and evaluating both internal team and supplier performance
- Mentor junior engineers in software development practices
- Engage with a variety of software programming languages
