Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software architecture, particularly focusing on cloud-based solutions and DevOps methodologies.
- At least 5 years of experience in automated provisioning and configuration of software-defined infrastructure, along with designing for continuous deployment and operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins) and practices, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- A total of 7 years of professional experience with programming languages, including C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile Software Development.
Responsibilities
- I will lead the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools for software development, encompassing build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- I will manage and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures, specifically using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- I will be responsible for creating and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, and other scripts to facilitate infrastructure administration and software deployment.
- I will establish and uphold development and production environments along with the deployment of application devices.
- I will create best practices and methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- I will provide insights to delivery teams that help establish and achieve service level indicators, objectives, agreements, key performance indicators, and error budgets.
- I will oversee software development tool administration, maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and integration between tools like Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube.
- I will define, collect, analyze, and refine Key Performance Indicators and metrics related to software delivery and team performance.
- I will lead demonstrations, monitor project progress, and present status updates to customers and management.
- I will drive process improvement solutions and mentor junior teammates and development teams in DevSecOps best practices, fostering technical leadership and a culture of knowledge sharing.
- I will continuously seek solutions to enhance the operational deployment of high-quality end-to-end system software more frequently.
Description
This position is designated as 100% onsite at our facility in Berkeley, Missouri, and requires the selected candidate to work at one of the specified locations. The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is essential, and U.S. Citizenship is necessary as required by the U.S. Government. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. Preferred qualifications include a degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, and familiarity with Linux, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Infrastructure as Code.
