Lead Mission Systems Engineer - Hazelwood

- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications related to the work statement - 5+ years of experience in the development of complex mission systems - 5+ years of experience with hardware and software used on air vehicles, avionics, weapons, or mission systems - 5+ years of experience with mission systems strategy and architectural growth roadmaps - Experience with the integration of complex systems in laboratory and testing environments - Knowledge of mission systems safety and certification processes - 10+ years of engineering experience in autonomous aircraft platform mission systems (preferred) - 10+ years of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining complex architectures and system designs (preferred) - Experience with Level of Rigor (LOR) or Design Assurance Level (DAL) certification (preferred) - Skills in developing system requirements, verification plans, functional decomposition, and interfaces (preferred) - Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking and external customer interactions (preferred) - Familiarity with avionics integration and verification (preferred) - Experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary engineering team (preferred) - Experience working with suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance (preferred) - Knowledge of working with USAF or other DOD customers (preferred)
