Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline
- Active Secret Clearance
- 10 years of experience in embedded real-time software development
- 5 years of experience in leading or managing software engineering activities
- 5 years of experience in C/C++ coding or Java/Python script development
- 5 years of experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- 5 years of experience in automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps toolchain such as Artifactory and/or Gitlab
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the design, integration, modification, testing, and troubleshooting of software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring compliance with industry safety, customer, and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the review, analysis, and translation of client requirements for embedded software products.
- Evaluate and review code for embedded systems software tailored for specialized hardware.
- Manage the integration of embedded software with hardware components.
- Analyze and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
- Direct testing and debugging processes for embedded devices and systems.
- Provide guidance on software and hardware integration matters.
- Monitor and assess performance metrics of internal and supplier software teams to guarantee compliance with project plans and industry standards.
- Execute software project management functions.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant software delivery to programs.
- Uphold satellite and payload software safety, quality assurance, and engineering standards.
- Generate and present design and testing documentation, including program CDRLs.
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) across various processing platforms within the satellite vehicle architecture.
- Design and implement algorithms for cyber monitoring.
- Develop custom tools and processes to streamline automation and enhance the development workflow.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from software, hardware, Systems Engineering, Product Security Engineering, and Testbed Engineering teams.
