GNC Engineer (Senior, Experienced)

- Establish Guidance, Navigation and Control mission requirements while ensuring traceability and quality from system level to component level - Utilize multidisciplinary model data to create and refine a complex, nonlinear simulation model consisting of 6 degrees of freedom - Employ various programming languages, such as C, C++, FORTRAN, and Python to develop, implement, integrate, and test vehicle models and controllers - Create flight control laws through modern linear control design techniques to meet design and performance criteria - Conduct advanced nonlinear analysis to evaluate and enhance the control law design - Validate models against test data to enhance the precision of the simulation environment - Develop supplementary controllers, limiters, mode logic, and signal shaping to ensure performance stays within all flight envelope areas - Collaborate with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems engineers to integrate control laws into the operational flight program - Support various flight simulation types including desktop, software, and real-time simulations - Assist in hardware-in-the-loop development and testing - Contribute to flight testing planning and execution - Lead design reviews, analyses, simulations, and component/system testing to guarantee the delivery of products that meet or surpass customer expectations - Mentor and train colleagues
