Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of programming experience in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada (or a similar combination of technical education and experience)
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts
- Experience in the defense or avionics sector (preferred)
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools like Jira
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage several concurrent responsibilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and uphold architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
- Code and integrate software components into a fully operational software system
- Assist in the development of simulation environments to facilitate testing conducted by Mission Systems engineers
- Collaborate with an Agile team to achieve collective objectives
- Execute and document software research and development projects
- Operate under general guidance in a 100% onsite capacity
