Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications related to the role.
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel 10-20% domestically and internationally.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience for Level 3 candidates.
- Preferred: Expertise in aircraft test design, test execution, systems operation, configuration control, safety protocols, data collection and analysis, or maintenance practices.
- Preferred: Experience in flight test or lab engineering environments.
- Preferred: FAA Private Pilot training or certification.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and validation of testing methods.
- Create comprehensive test procedures and define instrumentation and configuration requirements to execute tests while mitigating risks.
- Address calibration system issues of limited scope and impact.
- Assess test results and resolve encountered challenges.
- Employ analytical tools to confirm design integrity.
- Process and present data formatted according to client specifications.
- Examine test data for precision, quality, and fidelity before submission to clients.
- Draft and disseminate test reports, including Certification Reports, to document outcomes and meet regulatory demands.
- Present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain concentration on test instrumentation during unconventional flight maneuvers and loads.
- Conduct Risk Analysis with a strong emphasis on safety compliance.
