Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain a SECRET US Security Clearance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
- At least 3 years of experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Rust, or Python
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis through formal qualification
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence
- Experience in embedded real-time software development
- Knowledge of network analysis tools such as Wireshark and debugging tools
- Capability to automate software builds, unit tests, and integration tests using a DevOps toolchain
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, integration, modification, testing, and debugging of software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Review and analyze customer requirements for embedded software products
- Develop and write code for software tailored for specific embedded hardware
- Integrate software with hardware components to enhance functionality
- Monitor and improve the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Conduct testing and debugging for embedded devices and systems
- Oversee satellite and payload software safety, quality assurance, and engineering excellence
- Produce and deliver design and testing documentation and artifacts
- Execute Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) for various processing platforms
- Design and implement algorithms for cyber monitoring
- Create and maintain custom tools for configuration automation and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team and user community
- Exhibit strong motivation and teamwork capability
