Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in C/C++
- At least 1 year of experience with Operating Systems: Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Linux
- Experience with Software Development Tools (e.g., Visual Studio)
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems and software development
- Experience with Unity game engine and scripting (preferred)
- Knowledge of OpenGL, Python, Qt, C#, Ada, and Fortran
- Understanding of cloud architecture and various cloud platforms
- Ability to automate and script
- Knowledge of containerization technologies
- Understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, routing, and security best practices
- Ability to trace and allocate requirements throughout the product lifecycle
- Capability to design, develop, and test software models using higher order programming languages
- Familiarity with Application Programming Interface (API) design and testing
- Knowledge of real-time software architecture and methodologies
- Understanding of build and execution environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and test simulation components
- Knowledge of verification and validation processes
- Familiarity with aircraft systems including weapons and flight controls
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of simulation models and frameworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify simulation requirements
- Participate in data collection for simulations
- Validate and refine simulation software and models
- Document and maintain technical specifications of simulation models
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams for software integration
- Implement emerging technologies and frameworks in the simulation environment
- Update and modernize simulation software for compatibility with new systems
- Support project management tasks related to simulation software
