Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or 10 years equivalent related experience
- 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
- 2 years of experience in object-oriented programming
- 2 years of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
Responsibilities
- Develops, documents, and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
- Integrates and maintains software components into a comprehensive software system
- Creates software verification plans, test procedures, and test environments; executes procedures and documents results to ensure compliance with software requirements
- Conducts and documents software research and development projects
- Acts as a subject matter expert for software domains and system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Troubleshoots software-related problems
- Works under general direction
