Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering field or 13+ years of equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with C++ or Java
- Familiarity with specification formatting, guidelines, and change control practices
- Understanding of host environments, processors, operating systems, and networks
- Capability to construct, integrate, and troubleshoot software components
- Proficient in software programming languages and databases applicable to software development
- Experience in deriving and allocating requirements with traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Knowledgeable in software architecture and design methodologies
- Familiar with software development processes compliant with internal and industry standards
- Acquainted with development and testing tools, including compilers, debuggers, and data analysis tools
- Understanding of software domains and characteristics affecting architecture and design
- Familiar with supplier assessment processes and project management tools
- Knowledgeable in implementation, validation, and verification processes ensuring software quality and performance
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze customer requirements to create initial software product designs
- Implement current and new technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development
- Execute and document software research and development initiatives
