Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline or 4 years of directly related experience or 8 years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, Site Reliability, or related IT projects
- Proficient in various software development languages, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles and tools (Docker, Jenkins, JIRA, Gitlab, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- Strong skills in cloud native technologies and Container Based Development (Kubernetes, AWS)
- Experience automating software builds, unit tests, and deployments using DevOps tool chains
- Familiarity with Agile software development environments
- Maintains Security or equivalent certification
Responsibilities
- Install and configure an integrated software engineering environment adhering to the DevSecOps framework
- Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining standardized processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to optimize the software engineering lifecycle
- Facilitate automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enhancements across development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, and security controls
- Provide technical support for the program, ensuring compliance with Application Security, IT, and customer security requirements
- Promote an environment that emphasizes quality, safety, compliance, and ongoing improvement across the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and sustain robust, scalable, and secure software engineering systems
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulations in the DevSecOps software engineering environment
- Manage software dependencies, including evaluation, acquisition & licensing, integration, and maintenance
- Assist software teams and IT with server upgrades/patches, database support, and setting up virtual environments
- Support operating system, infrastructure, and platform hardening
