Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in collecting, organizing, synthesizing, and analyzing data from diverse sources, summarizing findings, and formulating conclusions and recommendations.
- At least 1 year of experience in utilizing and developing analytical tools and code, such as SQL, Tableau, Cognos, Teradata, and cloud platforms.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Preferred: 1 or more years of experience supporting multiple managers in developing strategic plans on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Preferred: 1 or more years of experience engaging directly with executives or senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze technical requirements for key performance indicators and metrics displayed in a Cognos-based dashboard catering to 1500 users.
- Design and manage backend data sources using MS SQL Server/Cognos, extracting and staging data from 40 upstream databases to create a unified source for BCA engineering metrics and analytics.
- Create ad-hoc queries, reports, and analytical analyses using SQL, R, and Tableau in collaboration with business partners to identify emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with BCA Engineering leadership to comprehend both business and technical prerequisites.
- Familiarize with Google Cloud Platform.
- Lead and work with cross-functional teams across multiple business processes.
- Ensure accurate deliverables and maintain communication about results with all stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, document, and integrate requirements from various process owners.
- Recommend improvements for process, data, and application/system architecture.
- Assist in benchmarking best practices and present them at internal events.
- Learn to prioritize competing strategic initiatives.
- Conduct reviews of business requirements, coordinate testing schedules, and help prepare test scripts.
- Represent customers and functional users in communication with IT organizations regarding project requirements, activities, and statuses.
- Serve as a liaison to resolve issues related to business requirements between customers and IT representatives.
- Demonstrate familiarity with project and program management best practices to assist clients during project life cycles, including facilitating plan development.
- Seek company-wide synergies by collaborating with practitioners of methodologies and tools from other departments.
- Assist in integrating elements of enterprise architecture, including information, data, and application architecture.
- Ensure that solutions align architecturally with business objectives and adhere to strategic guidelines.
- Lead collective discussions to reach consensus on business architecture design, phased implementation, and application.
