Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming using Go, Java, C/C++, Rust, or Python.
- Familiarity with systems integration processes and procedures in systems engineering.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, in addition to technical skills and integration capabilities.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: 9 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Preferred: Experience with CI/CD software build pipelines, and DevOps or DevSecOps methodologies.
- Preferred: Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues related to computer memory or timing.
- Preferred: Experience with industry tools or methodologies such as Embedded System Software, Linux, VxWorks, Git, and Containers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring compliance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze, review, and convert customer requirements into software product designs for embedded devices and systems.
- Write and build code for embedded system software tailored for specific specialized hardware.
- Integrate embedded software with relevant hardware components.
- Assess, monitor, and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems.
- Perform tests and debugging on software for embedded devices and systems.
- Implement emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory updates crucial to software development and hardware technologies.
- Provide guidance on software and hardware integration matters.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of both internal teams and suppliers to ensure adherence to project plans and industry standards.
- Manage various functions related to embedded software projects.
