Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship - Minimum of 2 years experience programming in C, C++, or C# - At least 2 years experience in embedded software development - Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelors degree with 6+ years of directly related experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience - Preferred: 2+ years experience in developing automation testing and maintaining automation tools - Preferred: Experience in automation and robotic application development - Preferred: Knowledge of developing or integrating real-time software onto hardware - Preferred: Experience with lab or test equipment, including robotics and inspection hardware - Preferred: 1+ years working knowledge of GitLab - Preferred: Familiarity with interpreting electrical engineering drawings and schematics - Preferred: Ability to build, integrate, and troubleshoot software components - Preferred: Understanding of various engineering disciplines, including electrical and mechanical - Preferred: Knowledge of programming languages such as Assembly, Ladder Logic, or Matlab - Preferred: Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, FTP, XML, and ARINC429 or MS1553 - Preferred: Familiarity with software development and testing tools for real-time applications - Preferred: Capability to derive and allocate requirements throughout the product lifecycle

Responsibilities

- Assist in the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software integrated into ATE and NDI devices and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards - Collaborate in the review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements for embedded software design - Support coding for embedded systems software tailored for specific hardware configurations - Contribute to the integration of embedded software with hardware components - Aid in the analysis, monitoring, and enhancement of the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems - Participate in testing and troubleshooting software for embedded devices and systems - Assist with the implementation of contemporary technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes pertinent to software and hardware development - Contribute to tracking and assessing software team performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards - Help perform embedded software project management tasks - Communicate effectively with technical staff across various domains to assess technical information and address issues affecting product design, production, and support
