Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming using high-level languages like C, C++, or Ada (C++ preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in test automation using Python
- Minimum of 2 years of developing software for embedded systems with one or more real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- 2 years of experience with Wind River VxWorks or similar Linux environments; a general understanding of RTOS is acceptable
- 2 years of experience utilizing Git for repository version control and configuration management
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software for integration into embedded devices and systems meeting industry standards
- Analyze and translate customer requirements into suitable software product designs for embedded systems
- Write code for embedded software tailored to specific hardware
- Integrate software with various hardware components
- Monitor and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Test and debug software for embedded applications
- Implement current and upcoming technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software and hardware
- Provide guidance in software and hardware integration areas
- Assess the performance of internal and supplier software teams to ensure compliance with projects and industry standards
- Perform project management tasks related to embedded software development
