Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
- Must be able to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with embedded systems and software development (C, C++)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of Linux and software containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (JIRA, Git)
- Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (MSOSA, Cameo) is preferred
- Previous experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus
- Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP)
- Secret Clearance is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software that complies with industry standards and regulations
- Analyze and convert customer requirements into software product designs
- Write and build code for software that operates on specialized embedded hardware
- Integrate software solutions with existing hardware components
- Monitor and optimize the efficiency and stability of embedded systems
- Test, debug, and troubleshoot software for various embedded devices
- Implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software and hardware development
- Provide advice on software and hardware integration processes
- Evaluate and monitor both internal and supplier software team performance for compliance with industry standards
- Manage projects related to embedded software development
