Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in embedded real-time software development
- At least 1 year of experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in automating software builds, unit tests, and deployment using DevOps tools like Artifactory and/or Gitlab
- Over 2 years of experience in C/C++ coding or Java development
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, or similar field is strongly preferred
- 2 or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
- Active U.S. secret clearance is advantageous
- Familiarity with ARM or PowerPC processor architectures and experience in agile product development is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, integration, modification, testing, and debugging of software for embedded systems that comply with industry and safety standards
- Support the analysis and translation of client requirements for embedded software solutions
- Aid in coding for software running on specialized embedded hardware
- Collaborate on the integration of software with hardware components
- Monitor and enhance the performance and stability of embedded software systems
- Participate in testing and fault-finding for embedded devices
- Ensure software safety, quality, and compliance within satellite and payload software
- Help produce design and test documentation
- Conduct Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) for various processing platforms
- Design and implement cyber monitoring algorithms
- Develop, document, and upkeep system architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and software designs
