Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field - Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship - 5+ years of experience in programming with C, C++, or C# - 5+ years of background in embedded software development - Level 4: 9+ years of relevant work experience OR 13+ years of directly related experience OR 17+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree - Knowledge of automation testing and maintenance of automation tools for 5+ years - Familiarity with automation and robotic applications development for 5+ years - Experience with real-time software or integration of embedded software onto hardware for 5+ years - Proficiency with lab or test equipment, robotics, and inspection hardware like Lidar or Ultrasound for 5+ years - 1+ years of working knowledge of GitLab - 1+ years of experience interpreting electrical engineering drawings and schematics - Ability to construct, integrate, and troubleshoot software components - Understanding of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering - Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, Assembly, and Matlab - Awareness of communication protocols like TCP/IP, FTP, and XML - Knowledge of real-time software development and testing tools - Expertise in deriving and allocating requirements and ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle

Responsibilities

- Facilitate the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software integrated into ATE and NDI devices that adheres to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards - Assist in reviewing and analyzing customer requirements to inform software product design for embedded systems - Contribute to the coding and development of embedded systems software for specific specialized hardware - Collaborate on integrating embedded software with hardware components - Engage in analyzing, monitoring, and enhancing the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems - Participate in testing and debugging processes for embedded devices and systems - Support the implementation of current and emerging technologies relevant to software development and hardware - Help in tracking and evaluating software team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards - Assist in executing embedded software project management tasks - Communicate with cross-functional technical personnel to assess technical information and issues affecting design and support of products and services
