Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship
- 2+ years of experience with C, C++ or C#
- 2+ years of experience in integrating embedded software onto hardware
- 1+ years of practical knowledge of GitLab
- 1+ year of interpreting electrical engineering drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems
- Competence in programming languages (e.g., C++, C#, Assembly, Matlab)
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, XML)
- Experience in testing and usability practices
- Ability to create and execute test scripts
- Knowledge of real-time software development tools and methodologies
- Understanding real-time target environments and communication protocols
- Capability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software
- Knowledge of deriving and allocating requirements throughout the product lifecycle
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software integrated into embedded systems and devices
- Translate customer requirements into software design for embedded systems
- Aid in coding for embedded systems software tailored for specialized hardware
- Contribute to the integration of embedded software with hardware components
- Analyze, monitor, and enhance the efficiency and stability of embedded software solutions
- Participate in the testing and debugging processes for embedded systems
- Implement current and upcoming technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to software and hardware development
- Evaluate internal and supplier software team performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
- Engage in embedded software project management tasks
- Communicate with technical personnel across various disciplines to address design, production, and support challenges
