Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri area
- Experience in the Aerospace Industry (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, showcasing strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills (preferred)
- Exposure to design/build or test teams (preferred)
- Familiarity with engineering process development and maintenance (preferred)
- Knowledge of electronic/electrical system designs or testing based on requirements (preferred)
- Proficient in data structures, system design, and architecture (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Apply our practices, techniques, standards, and concepts relevant to the job
- Create, document, and sustain electronic and electrical system requirements aligned with customer needs and contractual obligations
- Draft statement-of-work and technical performance specifications
- Analyze, convert, and execute customer specifications into system architecture alongside hardware and software designs, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct tests and validations to confirm that system designs fulfill operational and functional criteria
- Address product integration challenges and production discrepancies
- Explore emerging technologies to formulate concepts for potential future product developments and internal business strategies
- Oversee supplier performance to maintain system integrity and adherence to requirements
- Generate and maintain moderately complex electronic and electrical system specifications
- Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployed hardware and software throughout the entire product lifecycle
