Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in electrical, computer, or related engineering field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in design, development, analysis, testing, and/or operation of spacecraft power systems
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Capability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience with high-reliability automotive or aerospace electronics (preferred)
- Familiarity with mitigating space radiation effects on microelectronics (preferred)
- Proficiency in MATLAB (preferred)
- Experience with hardware design tools such as Altium, EAGLE, OrCad, Allegro, DxDesigner, or PADS (preferred)
- Proven history of independently resolving discrepancies during spacecraft integration and testing (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances in system-level functional and environmental testing
- Address non-conformances, and design tests and changes to align with design specifications
- Evaluate and authorize production work instructions
- Execute spacecraft Electrical Power subsystem design and analysis at the spacecraft level, including interactions with other subsystems
- Assist in the design of batteries, solar arrays, and electronics
- Present design and analysis findings to program managers, clients, and stakeholders
- Aid in system-level functional and environmental testing
