Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications related to the work statement
- Proficiency in one or more areas such as digital communication theory and systems, digital signal processing (DSP), algorithm design and implementation, or systems engineering principles
- At least 1 year of experience with Matlab or Simulink
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital Signal Processing or Digital Communications
- At least 1 year of experience in systems engineering concepts (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative RF and digital satellite communication systems
- Create and validate multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms
- Perform performance analysis of signal processing models
- Execute waveform development and characterization tasks
- Conduct trade studies
- Assist in the integration and testing of payloads and spacecraft from unit level through to in-orbit operations
- Support HDL-level design and validation
- Carry out detailed system design and verification activities
