Control Systems Software Architect

I am excited to invite candidates to join The Boeing Company as a Command & Control Software Architect within our Ground Software Engineering team in El Segundo, California. This role will contribute to our Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Satellite Systems Software Engineering organization, where we create the software tools and services that power the world's highest-performing satellite and ground systems for both US Government and commercial clients. This position offers a stimulating opportunity to work in a fast-paced development environment using cutting-edge technology and methodologies, including agile processes and CI/CD integrated with automated testing, security scanning, and quality assurance capabilities. I will work closely with customer counterparts and program management to provide high-value capabilities and conduct demonstrations throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of software architecture, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit to support our Integrated Product Team. This senior role demands proven experience within the software ecosystem, a distinct project background, and demonstrable superior judgment for developing innovative solutions and capabilities. Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are essential to achieving success in this position. Travel may be required up to 10%. Business considerations, as well as candidate qualifications and experience, will inform the pay structure, which ranges from $167,450 to $262,200 depending on the role level.
