Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance following employment
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Over 3 years of experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, analyze, and sustain software systems that comply with industry, customer, and internal quality, safety, security, and certification benchmarks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine system definition and break down system-level requirements into software-specific requirements and models that fulfill operational needs and ensure traceability to design, code, and test artifacts
- Conduct software system-level analyses to pinpoint risks, challenges, and opportunities; integrate and execute mitigation strategies throughout the software lifecycle
- Perform code evaluations to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
- Oversee and assess testing phases, verification processes, and issue resolution for software systems
- Create documentation and coordinate with teams affected by software modifications, including integration teams and users of the software
- Present detailed software architecture, impacts, and limitations to review boards and stakeholders
- Implement cutting-edge technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations related to software development
- Manage software projects and engage in software supplier oversight
- Be highly motivated and thrive in a collaborative team environment
Description
We at Boeing are currently seeking a Requirements Systems Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join our KC-46 Aerial Refueling and Mission System Software team located in Tukwila, WA. In this pivotal role, you will engage in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout its lifecycle. You will analyze and translate customer requirements for our stakeholders.
