Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline
- Over 5 years of experience in a hardware testing environment
- Skilled in operating thermal chambers, vacuum chambers, and vibration shakers
- Proficient in designing test procedures and implementing process enhancements
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support for environmental testing equipment and procedures
- Develop and validate test procedures for spacecraft hardware, ensuring readiness and addressing issues during test campaigns
- Create standard operating guidelines for environmental test technicians
- Optimize manufacturing test processes to enhance productivity and facilitate the transition from engineering to production
- Identify and implement improvements to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency in operations
- Diagnose and resolve issues in testing processes, implementing preventive measures
- Promote production autonomy by refining requirements and automating processes
- Serve as a technical expert in environmental testing processes and equipment
- Innovate test equipment automation to enhance testing efficiency and output
