Senior Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer

- Collaborate with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) to shape system-level concepts and architectures - Define and refine the MDA/C2BMC system architecture - Create and maintain requirements and architecture documentation to enhance missile defense capabilities - Conduct architecture and requirements trade studies to suggest improvements in mission performance, cost, schedule, and technical feasibility - Oversee the requirements management process, including planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of relevant tools - Track program-level risks and assess technology readiness in relation to architectural and requirements decisions - Work closely with MDA, warfighters, and industry partners to synchronize requirements and system priorities - Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products and ensure effective communication with government customers - Plan and implement integration and testing tasks, overseeing the work schedule and monitoring task completion - Document integration and test events, capturing all necessary results and evidence for verification - Partner with SMEs to address complex system issues and implement process improvements - Evaluate the performance of systems in realistic scenarios, using modeling and simulation to inform decisions - Conduct system analysis and performance trade studies to guide technical choices
