Senior Manager, System Engineer Integration

- Oversee employees and first-level managers engaged in engineering and technical activities within Systems Engineering and Airworthiness Certification - Create and implement integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures while contributing to business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives - Obtain resources for departmental functions, manage supplier relationships, and lead process improvement initiatives - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports - Monitor and approve technical methodologies, products, and processes while managing, growing, and inspiring team members - Implement Safety Assurance (SA) processes for performance tracking, evaluation, and continuous improvement - Enhance the role and mindset of the Applicant, focusing on compliance and separation - Lead various problem-solving teams for functional or supplier issues - Drive Certification & Airworthiness Integration across BDS and related organizations - Advocate for FAA, international, and U.S. Military Airworthiness Authority compliance for BDS and associated organizations - Collaborate with BDS project teams to identify E-UM and/or CVE requirements in support of project execution - Provide oversight for Applicant Advocacy through various reviews and regulatory documentation as Boeings representative - Work closely with engineering leadership and program managers to create a culture of sound judgment for compliance and safety - Aid in fostering a culture that minimizes regulatory interference and undue pressure - Lead compliance oversight initiatives, enhancing Applicant tools, documentation, and training to promote effective compliance execution
