Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Over 10 years of experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, focusing on key stakeholder management
- Proven experience in migrating applications to cloud platforms
- Strong background in team building, leading diverse teams, motivating and engaging team members, and inspiring collaboration
- Experience facilitating discussions with technical teams aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify suitable architecture, design, and services for cloud migrations and new applications
- Conduct quick technical feasibility studies and develop proposals for transitioning identified workloads to Azure, AWS, and Google
- Assist with compliance evaluations alongside customers regarding designed cloud architectures
- Formulate and select migration strategies to transition existing applications and workloads to the cloud
- Help create policy and process documentation to ensure application design adherence and efficient operations of the cloud architecture program
- Drive enhancements in optimizing the entire cloud onboarding, migration, and adoption process, including documentation, runbooks, and architecture patterns
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in cloud technologies
- Advocate for customer needs within the cloud engineering and platform teams
Description
We are The Boeing Company, seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Migration Architect to join our team in multiple locations including Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; Ridley Park, PA; Chicago, IL; or Seal Beach, CA. This role is part of our Cloud and Development Platforms team, contributing to a multi-Cloud Service Provider environment. As an essential member of our team of technical architects, you will help develop and implement architectural patterns, migrate customer applications to cloud environments, and provide comprehensive technical support.
