Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience with C/C++
- 3+ years in designing and developing software for Real-Time or Non-Real-Time systems
- 5+ years experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- 1+ years of experience in Safety or Flight Critical Software Development
Responsibilities
- Creates, documents, and maintains software system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Develops and maintains code, integrating software components into a fully operational system
- Formulates and oversees software development plans, verification strategies, testing procedures, and environments, carrying out tests and documenting results to confirm system requirements are met
- Offers technical leadership for software initiatives
- Aids in the generation and upkeep of software processes, tools, and metrics
- Acts as a subject matter expert on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Monitors and assesses the software team to ensure conformance with project plans and industry standards
- Educates and mentors others
- Operates under general supervision
