Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent - Minimum of 9 years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering - Proficient in handling MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft systems or structures - Practical experience with materials and manufacturing processes - Previous certification with Boeing Commercial Airplanes Engineering Material Review Board preferred

- Analyze and conduct root cause assessments to address production non-conformities - Utilize Boeing design principles to identify and resolve product/process challenges throughout the product lifecycle - Apply engineering concepts to investigate technical, operational, and quality issues supporting final engineering solutions - Document and communicate deviations impacting design intent and safety, and provide recommendations for resolution - Create and implement enhancements for products and processes - Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and take part in design review sessions - Act as the engineering representative during initial builds, production, and post-production phases - Ensure compliance of suppliers and build partners with Boeing standards - Draft customer communications for the safe operation and maintenance of equipment - Participate in on-site repair teams, accident investigations, and support initiatives - Analyze damages for repairs or structural modifications, determining safe practices and minimizing collateral damage - Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength evaluations - Develop non-destructive test methodologies, tools, and standards

As a contract position, we emphasize the importance of effective communication and collaboration, with a focus on hands-on engineering within the factory. This role offers engagement in a dynamic environment, requiring daily attendance at designated locations and participation in a structured training rotation program.
