Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering for experienced roles; 5 years for mid-level
- Hands-on knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft systems or structures for experienced roles; 5 years for mid-level
- Prior Boeing BCA Engineering MRB certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze and perform root cause analysis for production non-conformances
- Apply Boeing design principles to address and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle
- Utilize engineering principles to investigate technical, operational, and quality matters to finalize engineering solutions
- Identify, document, and communicate issues that may affect design intent and safety, recommending and managing resolutions
- Develop and implement improvements for products and processes
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and take part in design evaluations
- Serve as the engineering representative during production and post-production phases
- Ensure compliance of suppliers and build partners with Boeing standards
- Prepare customer correspondence for the safe operation and maintenance of equipment
- Participate in on-site support teams for disabled product repairs and accident investigations
- Analyze damage repairs or structural modifications to determine proper methods and ensure safe working conditions
- Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength evaluations
- Develop non-destructive testing procedures, tools, and standards
Description

We are located in Everett, Seattle, Auburn, Renton, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to make engineering decisions and engage directly in the factory setting. This role involves daily exposure to a factory environment, which may include navigating stairs, handling trip hazards, and exposure to various noise and chemical levels. As part of our team, you will participate in the Boeing Company Training Rotation Program, which entails working shifts, including weekends and travel between sites as required.
