Requirements

Must:
- Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (has been active in the past 24 months) - U.S. Citizenship - Proven experience in managing and maintaining both physical (Cisco) and virtual networking devices - Extensive knowledge of network segmentation and complex routing across various networks - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities with critical thinking skills - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV) - Experience in utilizing network automation tools within enterprise environments - Advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelors degree) with relevant work experience (5 or more years for L3, 9 or more years for L4) or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

- Architect and uphold hybrid network connectivity between on-premise clusters and cloud environments, ensuring minimal latency, high bandwidth, and secure communication - Deploy and oversee virtual networking components such as VLANs, VXLANs, VPCs, Transit Gateways, and micro-segmentation in a multi-tenant setting - Use monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch to proactively identify and rectify network performance issues - Configure and apply security policies, including firewalls and security groups, to maintain isolation and compliance with security best practices - Troubleshoot multicast traffic, BGP, OSPF, and PIM for effective dynamic routing across the hybrid framework - Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) to automate the management of network infrastructure - Design and sustain logical network segmentation to ensure scalability and compliance with enterprise best practices - Set up and evaluate network failover strategies for high availability and business continuity - Collaborate with cloud architects and DevOps teams to integrate networking solutions with AWS services - Develop and maintain comprehensive network diagrams, runbooks, and operational documentation for support and knowledge transfer
