Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (focused on Electrical, Mechanical, Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of work experience and technical education.
- Proficiency in model-based systems engineering, requirements analysis, and functional decomposition.
- Familiarity with Cameo or similar Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools is preferred.
- Experience integrating sensors and subsystems on DoD tactical platforms is advantageous.
- Background in developing requirements and traceability from weapon systems to subsystems is desirable.
- Knowledge of avionics integration testing and analysis tools (e.g., Matlab) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Create MSOSA models to outline mission system components, interfaces, behaviors, and requirements breakdown.
- Collaborate effectively with software and hardware teams to incorporate capabilities into the system.
- Specify requirements for software and hardware components.
- Develop activity and sequence diagrams using MBSE to illustrate system functionality.
- Document design choices and validation outcomes, offering technical insights for safety, certification, and compliance documentation.
- Break down system-level requirements into subsystems and component-level criteria.
