Requirements
Must:
- Must be available full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Familiarity with MATLAB and/or Python programming languages
- Understanding of aerospace systems design, orbital dynamics, and/or mathematical modeling
- Capability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Currently enrolled as a student with an expected graduation date on or after August 2026
Responsibilities
- Simulate large satellite constellations to evaluate their effectiveness against mission objectives
- Generate models for space vehicle payloads (e.g., electro-optical/infrared) for system trades and performance assessments
- Collaborate with software and firmware teams to create hardware for simulation deployment (e.g., software/hardware-in-the-loop)
- Develop innovative algorithms, models, and data processing techniques for EO/IR sensing and tracking systems
